    For Wendy.

    Wasn’t sure how to tell you this,
    to tell you you’ve been kissed
    without you knowing it.

    It’s as clear as crystal;
    you bear the mark of a
    faithful, secret lover.
    The angels recognise his seal
    (and the demons quiver);
    A lip-shaped stamp on
    your waxy heart
    (signature of the spirit-lover).

    And when you kiss towards
    him, (as you daily do),
    he can’t resist but
    bound through the skins of heaven,
    sneak in through your window,
    (like a thief to steal his prize)
    and, in return, plant an
    inside-out kiss,
    a deep down core-kiss to make you

    sparkle.
